On January 5, 2020, Aishe Ghosh became the victim of a violent attack on campus, allegedly by members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). In the incident, she suffered severe head injuries and injuries to her arms and was rushed to AIIMS Delhi Hospital for immediate medical attention.
