She met producer Rohit Nag during an audition. Later, their mutual friend Karan Vahi (television actor) brought the two closer.

On January 4, Rohit proposed to me. It was an absolutely romantic proposal, and therefore, I made all my girlfriends envious. He arranged surprise after surprise for me. So, when he proposed to me, there were flowers, music, fireworks, champagne, a presidential suite and more! He totally blew me away and I immediately said ‘yes’ because it felt so right. “

In 2003, she started participating in local beauty pageants in Delhi. In 2006, she participated in the Miss India competition and reached the top 10 finals. Later, she modeled for several brands.
