Scott Speedman and Lindsay Rae Hofmann are parents again!

The couple welcomed their second child, son Indy Roy, in September 2024. Speedman and Hofmann are already parents to daughter Pfeiffer Lucia, who was born in October 2021.

Hofmann and Speedman became Instagram official in 2017 and eventually got engaged in June 2023. Co-founder Juillet announced the happy news on Instagram, writing “I do” alongside a photo of her diamond ring.

She co-founded a swimwear brand

In 2017, Hofmann co-founded Juillet, a collection of contemporary and luxury swimwear. Several celebrities have worn the brand, including January Jones, Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid.

Before that, Hofmann worked as a brand consultant and fashion editorial account manager, according to her LinkedIn.

She was the co-host of the podcast

In addition to running her swimwear company, Hofmann co-hosted a podcast The Real Girl series with his two friends, Jess and Giana.

The interview-based podcast launched in February 2020 and focuses on mental health, wellness and spirituality. However, the trio seems to be on hiatus as they haven’t released any episodes since April 2022.

She was first linked with Speedman in 2017

Speedman and Hofmann have been in a relationship since 2017.

In July of the same year, the first photo of the couple with the caption “magical night” appeared on Hofmann’s Instagram.

They also spent the holidays together a few months later. Hofmann took to Instagram to share a black-and-white photo of the two cuddling up while wearing formal hats.

“Just us being sassy and sweet #canadianchristmas,” she captioned the photo, seemingly in a nod to Speedman’s Canadian upbringing.

She was a fan Your and Grey’s Anatomy before Speedman joined the cast

In October 2021, Speedman said Esquire that Hofmann was an avid viewer of the two series he eventually came to.

“She started looking Your, and then I ended up on that show,” he said. “She started watching drunk Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix during the pandemic, and here I am. Whatever she’s watching, I seem to finish.”

Speedman told PEOPLE that Hofmann delights in the projects he stars in.

“Part of my fun with shows like this is that she gets really excited about it,” he said.

She and Speedman have two children

Speedman and Hofmann welcomed their first child, daughter Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman, at home on October 26, 2021.

Before the arrival of baby Pfeiffer, Speedman appeared The Drew Barrymore Show and talked about preparing for a home birth, which included borrowing a bathtub from a neighbor.

Later, Speedman described the experience of childbirth Cut as “unbelievable”.

“It’s a wild thing to experience, to be there and watch, to see a person you love so much go to this level,” he told the newspaper.

On September 2, 2024, the couple celebrated the arrival of their second child, son Indy Roy.

“Our hearts opened and we fell madly in love,” Hofmann wrote on Instagram. “You came fast and furious the day after daddy’s birthday and on the official due date – September 2nd at 7:12am at a surprising 8lbs. We love you Indy bug, that’s always been you.”

She chose their daughter’s name

Speedman revealed that Hofmann had chosen their daughter’s name. “That seemed important,” he said cut, adding, “and, obviously, she does all the hard work.”

The Underground star said their baby’s name was inspired by Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur, California, where the couple often spends time together.

In November 2021, Hofmann posted a carousel of photos of their little girl on Instagram with the caption: “Pfeiffer, may her heart always be connected to nature and the sea, & Lucia, may she forever be our little ‘light’.” We love you little Pfeiff.”

She and Speedman share a dog

Speedman and Hofmann have a labrador named Bodhi, and according to the actor, that was one of his biggest concerns about bringing the child home.

“He was very good,” he said Cut. “He’s very curious; sometimes he’s a little afraid of her. It’s a big change for him, so we’re all going through it.”

Despite being a first-time father, Speedman admitted that he had an easier time adjusting to parenthood than Hofmann. “I have a smaller role at the moment, and I’m a support unit,” he said.
