She was found dead on September 30, 2022, in a hotel in Versova, Mumbai. Police claimed she committed suicide because she was dissatisfied with her life. A police officer spoke about the incident in an interview and said:
After the incident came to light, the hotel manager informed the police that although the staff knocked on the door of the room, there was no response from inside. The troubled model, a resident of Yamuna Nagar Society in Lokhandwala area of the city, checked into the hotel around 1 pm on Wednesday and locked herself up from inside. “
