Al Pacino is officially the father of four children!

The 83-year-old actor welcomed a boy, Romano Pacino, with his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, 29, in June 2023. The couple, who have been dating since April 2022, announced they were expecting their first child together just weeks before the arrival of their rail.

Pacino is also the father of three grown children. He shares a daughter, Julie Marie, with his ex-girlfriend, acting coach Jan Tarrant. He also shares twins Anton and Olivia with ex Beverly D’Angelo, whom he dated from 1997 to 2003. Despite his fame, A face with a scar the star keeps her life with her children mostly private.

Although the Oscar winner has never been married, he has been romantically linked to Diane Keaton, Lucila Solá and Alfallah over the years.

“Of course it is possible [I’ll get married]. It doesn’t seem to matter,” the actor told Boston Herald 2015. “I have no idea, but never say never.”

Pacino’s parents divorced when he was 2 years old, after which he moved in with his maternal grandparents. “Since then, my father has not been in my life,” he said The Guard in 2015. “I wanted to be different with my children. I wanted to be responsible for them, so I divide my time on two coasts.”

Pacino spoke with The The New Yorker on fatherhood in 2014, saying, “I’m accountable to them. I’m part of their life. When I’m not, it upsets me and them. So that’s part of the gestalt. And I get a lot out of it. It takes you out of yourself.”

Julie Marie Pacino, the only child of Pacino and Tarrant, was born on October 16, 1989 in New York.

Just like her father, Julie entered the entertainment industry as an actress and director. In a 2014 interview with her alma mater, the New York Film Academy, she revealed that it had always been her dream to enter the film business. “As a child, I always made shorts with my friends and wrote stories that I acted out,” she said. “I remember visiting movie sets as a kid and always being incredibly intrigued by the alternate reality I stepped into.”

In 2009, Julie and her friend Jennifer DeLia started a production company called Poverty Row Entertainment. The company covers topics such as gender and sexuality and their connection to art. “As a production company, we also produced music videos and commercials,” she added. “Working on the short format that we do is a lot of fun. It’s great to be able to work on something from start to finish and have that experience on set. I learn something new every time.”

Julie has won several awards for her work, including Best Director at the 2020 Venice Short Film Festival and the Silver Comedy Award at the Hollywood Gold Awards in the same year.

In 2020, Julie launched another production company called Tiny Apples. The company’s goal is to “push the boundaries of conventional storytelling by creating imaginative content using the best and brightest from both sides,” according to a press release.

Anton Pacino, 23

Anton James Pacino is the son of Pacino and D’Angelo, born in Los Angeles on January 25, 2001. He has a twin sister, Olivia.

Anton stays out of the public eye and does not appear to be present on social media. Over the years, several photos have been taken of her going out for ice cream, shopping in LA and visiting the doctor’s office.

Pacino told in 2015 The Guard about how his children have changed him. “The kids changed my perspective,” he said. “Before I got the three, I was walking around in my head, not noticing anything. Acting used to be everything; now, because of them, it’s only a small part.”

Olivia Pacino, 23

She has an active presence on social networks, including more than 16,000 followers on Instagram. In June 2020, she shared a photo of her father for Father’s Day, writing: “Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing father ever! 💓🥺 you are my best friend.”

She also shared a photo with her dad and siblings on the Oscars red carpet in February 2020. “What a night! This has always been my dream as a kid 🤍,” she wrote.

In November 2023, Olivia celebrated her five-year anniversary with her longtime boyfriend.

In June 2023, Alfallah and Pacino welcomed a baby boy, Romano Pacino, into the world.

Pacino’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE in late May 2023 that the actor and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together.

“Al loves being a father and always has. He’s excited,” a source told PEOPLE after the big news. “Being a parent is and always has been an important part of Al’s life.”
