Alan Cumming Adds 3 Surprise Players on The Traitors Season 3: Find Out Which Reality Legends Joined the Game

Warning: This story contains spoilers from the three-episode season 3 premiere Traitors.

Boston’s Rob Mariano got a chance to get revenge Traitors.

At the start of the Jan. 9 premiere, host Alan Cumming gave the cast a chance to welcome Boston Rob, 49, to the game and eliminate someone else before the competition truly begins. But no one took advantage of the opportunity, and it seemed that they did Survived the winner would not get a chance to play.

But at the end of the first episode, Alan, 59, informed Boston Rob that he would, in fact, be entering the game – as a traitor, joining RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Bob the Drag Queen, Big BrotherDanielle Reyes and colleagues Survived veterinarian Carolyn Wiger.

“I’m going to kill them all,” Rob told Alan. “I can’t wait.”

At the beginning of the second episode, Alan revealed that two more players will enter the competition: Challenge‘s Wes Bergmann and Big Brotheris Derrick Levasseur. The three new additions were immune to being killed by another person (The Real Housewives of New York alum Dorinda Medley was first) and each entered with a shield to issue.

Alan introduced the three new players to the other contestants at the start of their second mission, which saw Derrick, 40, Rob and Wes, 40, hang from individual cages in the forest.

“I can’t stand that hole,” Carolyn, 38, said when she saw Wes. “I don’t want him in the game, and now he’s here!”

Existing players were supposed to cut down new competitors by collecting bags of coins around the forests and depositing the coins into one of the rookie collectors. Each coin was worth $100, and only players down within 20 minutes could donate their shields.

The contestants took down Rob first, then Derrick and last, Wes, for a total of $15,000 and a chance to win three shields. The slave eventually gave in SurvivedTony Vlachos, but the 51-year-old was still kicked out in the third episode.

Rob, Derrick and Wes, whom he nicknamed the Cage Boys, were also unable to vote in the first eviction, which Bachelor in ParadiseWells Adams becomes the first eliminated. Wes planned to give his shield to Wells, 40, before the banishment, but ended up giving it away SurvivedJeremy Collins to get Survived contingency on his side.

Derek gave his to Dylan Efron and he let Danielle know that he did it to get someone out Big Brother alliance on their side.

With their shields split, the Traitors – now with the addition of the Boston Slave – finally decided to kill The Real Housewives of Dubaiis Chanel Ayan.

“When I say that revenge is a dish best served cold, that applies to all of them,” he said in front of the cameras. “Of course they’re going to come get me, so it’s everyone’s fair game now.”

During the third mission, which required pairs of contestants to try to get through a fun house in a game that was part luck, part statistics, Rob became frustrated with his fellow players.

“I can’t believe how unstrategic this whole group is,” he complained in a confessional interview.

While Wes and his partner Ciara Miller made it the farthest, in the end no one made it all the way through the funhouse and earned the shield at the end.

In another roundtable, Rob helped put the nail in Tony’s eviction coffin when Dylan, 32, wanted to vindicate Drag Queen Bob, 38.

“First of all, I think about my game plan,” Rob said in a confessional interview. “Let me build some trust with people I already know. So when I cut their throats, they don’t see it. Wicked, I know.”
