Alex Rodriguez Still Happily Dating Trainer Jaclyn Cordeiro: 'Doing Great,' Says Source (Exclusive)

After Alex Rodriguez posted an inspirational quote on his Instagram the same day Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, some fans thought it was about his ex, who he dated for three years before she moved on with Affleck .

“Either you go one way or the other, maybe you’re the one who decides the direction,” read the quote.

But a source tells PEOPLE that the timing of the announcement was coincidental and that he is still happily married to his girlfriend of two years, fitness trainer Jaclyn Cordeiro.

“Alex is really, really happy to be spending quality time with Jaclyn and his family,” the source says, adding that he’s enjoying being a dad as always.
