Comedian and Seinfeld co-creator Larry David is the proud father of two adult daughters — Cazzie and Romy David.

Both of his daughters, which he shares with his ex-wife Laurie David, were born during Seinfeld it was still on the air in the 1990s. Larry said the couple’s decision to divorce led to the “best situation” with his children.

Cazzie was born in Boston on May 10, 1994. Her New York Knicks fanatic dad drew inspiration from the team when he named his firstborn, borrowing her nickname from NBA star Cazzie Russell.

“I was named after a Knicks basketball player,” she told Coveteur in 2017. “My dad is that big Knicks fan that he had to give me the craziest name ever.”

Romy was born two years after Cazzie, on March 2, 1996.

On his relationship with his daughters, Larry said his fall was when he said “no” to the couple.

“I think about it a lot – whether I’m a good father or not,” he said Guard 2010. “Sometimes I think I’m a terrible father. I don’t actually have a spine. In my physical makeup ― you won’t find it on my X-ray. It’s hard for me to say no to people, so anything a kid asks, I’ll just say yes.”

Cazzie and Romy followed in their father’s footsteps early.

At the age of 13, the sisters first appeared on screen in an episode of the series from 2007. Hannah Montana. They made a cameo with their famous dad as they tried to get a restaurant reservation – only to be beaten by Hannah herself.

Although Romy has not acted since the episode, Cazzie played Jayme Hargreeves in the third season of the Netflix series Umbrella Academy 2022. She also created and starred in a web series The eighty-sixth in 2017.

But it wasn’t long before Cazzie pursued a career in the entertainment industry. I hope people can relate to it because of that.”

Romy graduated from George Washington University and interned at the White House

Romy attended George Washington University in Washington, DC. After graduation, she interned at the White House during Barack Obama’s presidency and later became an associate producer at MSNBC. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in oral history at Columbia University in New York, according to her bio page on the program’s website, which states that Romy intends to use her degree to “share[e] first-person narratives that reflect structural policies and political decisions.”

In her essays, Cazzie was candid about her family life, mental health and her relationship with her ex SNL member Pete Davidson. The couple dated for almost two and a half years before calling it quits in 2018.

“[She’s a] very talented girl, she’s going to be great and she’s going to be fine,” Davidson said of Cazzie at the time of their parting. “Yeah, I think she’s going to be fine.”

In an interview with W Magazine In 2017, Cazzie said that she and her father are alike.

“My sister and mom are very similar, and my dad and I are very similar. Both of my parents are extremely neurotic in different ways,” she explained to the publication. – It was an interesting household, but nothing unusual.

Romy and Cazzie are very close, although, like many siblings, they occasionally fight. Cazzie commented on their relationship during a guest appearance at 2022 Late Night with Seth Meyers, explaining that she usually stays with her sister when she visits NYC

“So I’ve been staying with my sister every time I’ve come to New York. And, like, the level of fighting is just unbearable, and it’s about, like, the tiniest — this actually happened last night,” she told Meyers.

Cazzie continued, “I’m in her bedroom, right? We’re, like, getting ready for bed. And I go get myself a glass of water, and then she calls out to me, ‘Hey, can you get me a glass of water, too?’ okay, but then she says, ‘No, can you come over here and take my glass?’ ”

Cazzie then explained to Meyers that when she went into the bedroom to get Romy’s glass, the glass was already filled with water, which she then slowly began to drink while Cazzie stood waiting for her to refill it.

“And it ended with us, like, genuinely yelling at each other that we wished the other had never been born,” she added.

Despite their silly sisterly bickering, Romy has a strong bond with Cazzie, who shared snaps of the two hanging out.

“HBD my sweet sister!!,” Cazzie captioned an Instagram post for Romy’s 26th birthday in March 2022. “I’m bound to love you and post for your birthday by [I] to die I guess.”
