Allison Kuch Reveals Why a 6-Month Break from Husband Isaac Rochell Helped Their Relationship in the Long Run

Allison Kuch looks back at her love story.

During an interview with Alex Cooper during the Super Bowl Week in New Orleans, the football wife sat down with Call her dad Podcast hosts and opened up about his relationship with the recently retired NFL star Isaac Rochell.

In the episode that premiered on Siriusxm Alex Cooper Live of New Orleans Series 11. February, Cooper talks to Kuch about the reality that the NFL wife is day by day. At one point in the conversation, she reveals a gap in their long -standing relationship that started in college.

Rochell played football at Michigan State University, and Kuch attended the University of Notre Dame, where the two met in 2014 at a home party. After their encounter with love vision, they went to a coffee meeting shortly afterwards and started socializing two weeks later.

While the two of them crossed the distance, Kuch told Cooper that their timeline of relationships included a six -month break after Rochell was a move to football. The athlete was selected the seventh round of NFL drafts for 2017.

“So we met at college in Notre Dame. He went to Notre Ladies. I went to Michigan State, and the rest is history, except we were breaking about six months, somewhere there,” Kuch Cooper said in New Orleans.

Cooper, who thought her decision was “interesting”, asked her to explain.

“I’m all for a break,” Kuch replied. “Well, not now, no. Now we are somehow in that, are we? As you once get a baby, it’s kind of difficult,” she added, referring to her daughter Scottie Bee, whom she met with Rochell in December 2023.

“But I’m, you know, maybe I’ll go to a week and there,” the mom continued. “But honestly I think the holiday was so healthy for our relationship because we met, we were 19, and then they handed him a million dollars when they drew him.”

“I was still in college,” Koch continued. “So, it was, it was such a strange experience. So, I think we had to like each other, parting for a second and then come back.”

Rochell and Kuch secretly developed in December 2020. Before they tied the knot on April 11, 2021. At Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. On social networks, Kuch described that moment as “the best day of my life.”

The couple supported each other’s careers, speaking of each other on social networks and pods. Prior to Rochell’s retirement from NFL February 2025, Koch was main on the side and cheered it up at the games.

A large part of Kuch’s content on social networks involved documenting his life as an NFL wife both at the stadium and at home. Recently, the couple signed with Uta to represent them in all areas and help them “expand into sound, unwritten TV and other business ventures.”
