Amanda Seyfried Gushes Over Her Recent ‘Dream Reunion’ with Mean Girls Cast: ‘It Was Like a Pinch Me Thing’

Amanda Seyfried thinks otherwise Mean girls a reunion would be grool.

The actress, 38, said during Diversity and Party tonightGolden Globes 2024 digital pre-show that, after reuniting this fall with Lachey Chabert, Lindsay Lohan, Daniel Franzese and Rajiv Surendra for a Walmart commercial, she’d love to get the gang back together.

“Unfortunately it’s not up to me, but if it was, yeah, I think we’d all really enjoy some more time together,” said Seyfried, who will serve as one of the evening’s hosts.

She further noted that working on the ad with her co-stars was a “dream reunion.”

“It was like pinching me,” said the mum-of-two. “We had… it was two days of just a lot of catching up. It was really nice.”

Seyfried also said that if it were up to her, there would be a third Dear mother the movie too.

Rachel McAdams specifically skipped the Walmart ad with her co-stars, saying Diversity she “didn’t know that everyone” would do that.

“Of course, I would always love to be a part of it Mean girls getting together and hanging out with my plastic,” said McAdams, 45. “But yeah, I found that out later.”

The Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret the star also admitted that she did not see herself in the ad.

“I guess I wasn’t that excited to do the commercial, to be completely honest,” McAdams, 45, told the news outlet. “I’ve never done commercials and it just didn’t feel like a bag.”

Mean girls will hit theaters once again this week when the musical version starring Renée Rapp, Auli’i Cravalho, Jon Hamm, Angourie Rice along with the original cast of Tina Fey and Tim Meadows premieres on Friday.
