She rose to fame in May 2018 when she played the lead role of Kamali in Zee Kannada’s TV show Kamali. In an interview, Amulya shared her experience of getting recognized through the TV show Kamali and said;
Although I have done Kamali series before, this one got me recognition. Wherever I go, people recognize me by my character’s name. It’s a surreal feeling. Even though we faced a lot of problems during the height of COVID, we managed to resonate with our audience. This shows the power of our teamwork. ”
In May 2019, Amulya played the role of Hita Pradhan in Star Suvarna’s TV show Aramane. In August 2021, she appeared in Zee Kannada’s television show Punar Vivah. Amulya made her Telugu debut in the TV show Karthika Deepam in March 2022, where she played the role of Shourya in Star Maa.
