Angelina Jolie is an icon in more ways than one.
The award-winning actress has once again teamed up with Tom Ford Beauty for the luxury brand’s Runway Lip Colour, appearing in a new campaign video that showcases both her star power and striking beauty.
“A persistent trailblazer, Jolie propels her personal narrative with strength, confidence and an uncompromising commitment to self-expression,” the press release reads. “An Academy Award, Golden Globe and Tony Award winner, Jolie has established herself as an international icon in film, theater and fashion.”
Lensed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign pays “a cinematic tribute to female beauty and her strength,” according to a statement.
In the video, Jolie studies for the role, “a character who loves the camera almost as much as she loves it.” A portrait of a woman who makes everything in front of her her own, drawing confidence from the power of her signature shade: 16 Scarlet Rouge.”
The star wears a sexy black bra and red lipstick as she reads a script, poses in front of a mirror and dresses up on set. At the end of the clip, she applies Runway lip color while being backlit by a dramatic spotlight.
