Murphy went on to say that the ruling “opens the door to disclosure” of issues related to Pitt’s alleged abuse and “we welcome that transparency in the responses of all parties to the discovery.”
“Angelina looks forward to the final outcome of this litigation with her false stories that continue to hurt the family and hinder their ability to heal,” the lawyer concluded.
In their previous lawsuit, Pitt’s legal team accused Jolie of “refusing to produce any documents other than those (if any) relating to such agreement between” her and Pitt. The request also included “any NDA between Jolie and any third party with whom she has a relationship or who has assisted with the care of the couple’s children.”
The judge’s order states that “production is time-limited to calendar years 2014 through February 17, 2022 (when this lawsuit was filed),” with Judge Martin rejecting Jolie’s objections that her NDAs were not relevant.
