Anna Delvey 'Can't Help' Showing Off Ankle Monitor in Daring NYFW Outfits Before Walking the Runway (Exclusive)

Anna Delvey ended New York Fashion Week with a moment from the runway.

The Dancing with the stars The newbie and her agency Outlaw with Kelly Cutrone put on three fashion shows on the final day of Fashion Week, and she wore stunning outfits from each of the labels to be a walking billboard for the brands.

She literally walked into the show last.

To kick off the day, Outlaw presented Private Policy, a gender-neutral brand whose show was all about bringing back 2000s fashion in the office (the runway even included a little office motif). For the show, Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, wore a monochromatic seafoam green look from the label that consisted of a sequined ankle length skirt and a sheer collared shirt. She also wore a wool T-shirt, telling PEOPLE that as beautiful as it was, it was too hot for her to wear while working.

“Seafoam green suits my hair color well,” he says with a laugh. “I’ve got to start wearing more colors – I’ve only been wearing black all the time, and it’s been really beautiful.”

For the second show, the team presented Untitled&Co, who showed a handful of sexpiles on the catwalk. After all, what would you expect from a label that thanks you for being “hot”? The brand also dressed Delvey for the show in a look she told PEOPLE was a little unusual for her, but fun nonetheless.

In keeping with the new collection, this look was definitely hot. Delvey wore a white ruffled mini dress with a printed corset and blazer. Her outfit even had a pink ribbon from the label. She says she felt “very Paris Hilton,” evoking the feeling of “the early stuff,” which was a big departure for her, but it was fun.

Delvey’s New York Fashion Week capped her big moment — one of her biggest since her house arrest was recently lifted and she was allowed to work outside the home. She walked into the SHAO show at the end of the night.

In what she told PEOPLE was her “hottest” outfit of the day, she wore a long black skirt with a tailored black blazer with embellished lapels. Delvey has worn numerous pieces by designer Shao Yang and even designed some with her, and while she says she had little say in what she wore, she credits the label for the hard work that went into this look.

“We wanted to move away from the ankle bracelet, because with every outfit before, we tried to put the ankle bracelet in the center and that was the focus,” she says. “With this outfit, it was more covered. You couldn’t see it except for the back because of the slit, so you can see it’s a new phase.”

Delvey tells PEOPLE that she’s actively trying to switch to a watch version of her monitor, but hasn’t been able to get full approval yet, which is why she still has the ankle monitor. Regardless, it has become the center of everything he does.

“Every time I go out, it doesn’t matter what I’m wearing, I ‘sport’ or ‘show off’ my ankle bracelet, even though I have no choice but to wear it. And I can’t help it.”

As for walking the catwalk, Delvey says she was “riding the energy” of the day, which meant she wasn’t really nervous to walk the catwalk.

“I think I’m more nervous to dance in front of a live audience,” she says with a laugh, referring to her upcoming DWTS gig

“I’ve been exercising a bit and I think I’m walking decently,” she says. “But I practice more for dancing.”

Delvey has been increasingly back in the public eye in recent weeks after a judge allowed her to return to social media and her house arrest was eased. At the beginning of September, it was announced that he would compete in this season Dancing with the stars after receiving special permission from ICE to leave New York to film in Los Angeles. Now that she’s done with Fashion Week, she’ll be traveling to Los Angeles this weekend to start competing next week.

In August, Delvey revived her social media after being banned as part of an ongoing immigration case, stemming from her original grand larceny charges in 2019. On April 25, 2019, she was found guilty of eight charges, including attempted grand larceny in the first degree, aggravated theft in the second degree, aggravated theft in the third degree and theft of services. That May, she was sentenced to 4 to 12 years in state prison, fined $24,000 and ordered to pay restitution of about $199,000.

She went to prison but was released in early 2021. However, Delvey was then detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement for overstaying her visa in March of that year.

On October 5, 2022, Delvey was released from an ICE facility in Orange County, NY, but then had to post $10,000 bail, give up her social media, and was placed under house arrest.

Delvey was first arrested for posing as a German heiress and defrauding society, banks and hotels for money. At the time of her arrest in 2017, she was estimated to have stolen $275,000. She’s been labeled a “fake heiress” since her story made headlines, but as she recently told PEOPLE, she’s tired of the moniker.

“I hate it,” she said of the label. – I think it’s the worst thing that happened in my life.
