When Anna Kendrick isn’t hopping around the world’s movie sets, you can find her on her couch.
“I’m a bit of a housewife. Either I’m out there working or I want to be a housewife,” the Simple service 2 star tells PEOPLE during an interview promoting her new Keurig campaign.
But her precious time at home is meant for total relaxation – and that means staying out of the kitchen.
“I don’t cook. I don’t know how,” he said Pitch Perfect the star says with a laugh. “I really just don’t know how to do anything useful in life.”
The Twilight Alum, who is preparing to release her directorial debut, Woman of the hourshe explained that after working on the film, all she wants is “a little rest.”
“Just staying put and staying in LA, and just focusing on getting the baby out, is the right thing to do,” adds Kendrick, “the baby” referring to her true crime Netflix film, which premieres Oct. 18.

She jokes that her love back home probably isn’t a shock to fans.
“It’s no surprise to anyone that I’m a bit of a lazy person, so practicality and ease are everything,” she jokes.
Between balancing recording sessions and press tours, Kendrick is Keurig’s “Iced at Home Ambassador,” a “natural partnership” for the self-proclaimed homebody. The star’s campaign highlights the coffee company’s new K-Brew+Chill, an iced coffee machine.

“It’s perfect because it’s so fast and, frankly, I can stay in my house,” she says, explaining that the machine is ideal for her culinary abilities—or lack thereof. “I would definitely go out and get a coffee or even order one, so the fact is it’s safe in a way.”

2024 has been a busy year for Kendrick, who was spotted filming a movie Simple service continuation in Italy this spring.
Actors Blake Lively and Kendrick were photographed in Capri, Italy on April 3 filming a sunny wedding scene for Simple service 2.
According to the synopsis, the comedy-thriller brings the characters to “the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman.”
The first film was based on the novel by Darcy Bell in 2017, and the screenplay for the sequel was written by Jessica Sharzer.
