Anna Kendrick is ready to revisit the Bellas.
Kendrick talked about a potential return to Pitch Perfect universe as she spoke exclusively with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of her directorial debut Woman of the hour on Thursday, October 10.
“Oh my God, I know I would love it,” the 39-year-old actress and director says of the possibility Pitch Perfect 4. “And I keep repeating, I feel like a Rebel [Wilson] is actually like a steam engine of everything. So as long as she says it could happen, I’ll believe it.”
In the musical comedy franchise, Kendrick played Beca, alongside Wilson’s Fat Amy and Chloe Beale’s Brittany Snow. The first film was released in 2012, and after it in 2015 Pitch Perfect 2 and in 2017 Pitch Perfect 3.
Earlier this year, Camp and Wilson shared videos together on social media and teased a potential fourth film, with both subtly teasing that they “might” be making another one Pitch Perfect.
Kendrick’s new thriller serves as a bit Pitch Perfect reunion, as her co-stars Chrissie Fit and Kelley Jakle also appear.
Based on a true story, Woman of the hour tells the story of Cheryl Bradshaw, who went on Dating game 1978 and was unwittingly connected to serial killer Rodney Alcalo. Alcala is often called the killer of dating games.

Anna Kendrick directed, starring Woman of the hour An announcement about the true story of a serial killer on the Dating Show
“I think I had a lot of overwhelming moments, but I probably felt the most emotional when we finished the movie, and I know I’m going to be emotional tonight, mostly because it’s the first time I’ve had all those people in one room in a long time.” , she explains. “I mean, in some cases, they weren’t even in the same room when we were shooting the movie.”
She adds: “So I’m absolutely thrilled to be with everyone again.” Kendrick also says he hopes to direct more in the future.
The multitalented star also spoke about directing, appearing as an actress in Woman of the hour.
“Directing it wasn’t a big problem,” she tells PEOPLE. “There were a few people I would somehow turn to and say: ‘Am I still in the frame? Good, great.’ I’m happy and we can move on.”
She continues, “I even remember my editor telling me that he had never worked with an actor-director and he wasn’t sure if it was going to get dangerous and if I was going to get defensive about things.”
“But he told me about four weeks later, he said, ‘Jesus, you’re like a mercenary,'” Kendrick recalls. “Because I think I’m the first one to say, ‘Oh, no, that’s not right. Like, let’s look for something else.’ ”
