Ant and Dec have announced some very exciting news – and we can’t wait! Taking to their Twitter feed with new video, the duo of cheeky presentations revealed that they’re going back to where it all started – the Byker Grove reboot!
Smiling for the camera, Dec said, “Ant and Dec are here with some pretty exciting news we’d love to share with you,” Ant replied, “Do you think PJ and Duncan are here with some Pretty interesting news? Small clue!”
Dec continued: “Yes, you can say that! Don’t worry, we’re not making another album! 17 years after closing, Byker Grove is opening them up again,” while Ant chimed in. : “Yeah! We’ve teamed up with smart TV folks… to reboot classic 90s TV, bringing it back to a whole new audience, as well as people old enough to remember it fondly.”

Talking about how the pair became famous as their best friends PJ and Duncan on the show, Dec continued: “It’s clearly a show that is very close to the heart. Ours, so we couldn’t be more excited to give it a new life.It will take place once again to watch a new generation, young people and their families and their respect for them. face the challenges they face today in the 2020s!”
Fans loved the post, with one tweeting: “Oh. My God. Really. God!!!!!!!!!! PJ & Duncan must be the new Grove Leaders!!! The hit series, which started on ITV in 1989 and lasted for nearly two decades before ending in 2006, follows the trials and tribulations of a group of young Newcastle people and features some serious moments. important – including Ant’s character PJ who was blinded in a paintball accident.
