JNVST 2024 Start of registration for 6th grade admission
JNVST 2024 Registration: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started online registration for 6th grade admission. Students and parents can fill out the JNVST 2024 registration form on the official website: navodaya.gov.in. The deadline to complete the application for NVS grade 6 is August 10, 2023.
The 2024 Navodaya 6th grade entrance exam will be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 and Stage 2. The first JNVST exam will be held on November 4, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. and The second stage exam will be held on January 20, 2024 at 11:00:30 am.

Admission date for NVS class 6 in 2024
The JNV Selection Examination for Grade VI Admission will be held in two phases as mentioned below. In addition, exam takers can check the application closing date and other important dates mentioned in the table below:

Who is eligible to apply for JNVST 2024 for 6th grade admission?
- According to the prescribed conditions, the admission of candidates to grade 6 of JNV depends on each district. A candidate can only apply for admission to JNV in the school district where he is currently attending Grade V.
- Only candidates who are residents of the district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located and are attending Grade 5 in the same district are eligible to apply for admission.
- They must finish 5th grade by 2023-2024. at one of the government or accredited schools in the same county.
- Students who have completed 5th grade by the 2023-2024 school year. they are not eligible, nor are they repeat candidates. Such candidates will not be allowed to appear in JNVST 2024 if discovered.
Important documents to have when registering for NVS class 6 in 2024
Upon registration, the student or parent/guardian must upload the required documents. Below you can refer to the list of NVS class 6 registration documents in 2024:
- Certificate certified by the director with specific information about the candidate according to the prescribed form
- Aadhaar details/residence certificate issued by government agency
- Passport size photo
- Parent’s signature
- Applicant’s signature

- Step 1: Visit the official website: navodaya.gov.in
- Step 2: Click on the link to register for class 6 NVS on the homepage
- Step 3: Register by entering the necessary information
- Step 4: Sign in and fill out the application form and upload the documents
- Step 4: Submit the application form to JNVST and pay the required registration fee
- Step 5: Save the confirmation page and download it for future reference
