For the grand opening of New York Comic Con today, Momoa has shared a brand new poster Neptune Arthur Curry posted about the movie on his Instagram account, which not only shows off a more comic-book superhero costume that fans have seen multiple times now through various movie tie-in toys, but Arthur Curry also got his iconic trident from the comics. Additionally, in his Instagram post (which Wan also confirmed in his tweet) is a message about “Something exciting is going to happen tomorrow“, likely hinting at the release of a new trailer. Rumor has it that a new trailer will be released around New York Comic Con 2018, and new trailers from the cast and director suggest as much. Plus, it’s the same procedure they followed – releasing a brand new poster first – and then the first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 earlier this year. Plus, with the movie set to hit theaters in just over two months, it’s time to release a new, more sophisticated trailer that sheds more light on the film’s actual plot.
Judging from the first trailer, Neptune It tells the story of King Arthur deposing his brother King Orm (played by Patrick Wilson). While this is true, it turns out that the main subplot of the movie is Arthur and Mera’s search for King Atlan’s trident (see poster above). In some cases, this will give him the power to become the King of Atlantis – which is what this solo film is ultimately about.All in all, the new one seems likely Neptune The trailer is set to be released tomorrow, but it remains to be seen whether it’s a spin-off from the SDCC trailer or something entirely new (perhaps even a trailer shown exclusively to SDCC attendees).
