Ari Lennox will not tolerate concertgoers throwing objects on stage.
On Wednesday night, a fan threw a water bottle in her direction while she was opening for Rod Wave at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The bottle just missed her — and she immediately stopped singing to find out who the culprit was.
“Bitch, don’t play with me. Stop that shit, I’m gonna fuck you,” Lennox, 32, said, according to the video shared by a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Who did it? Who did it? I don’t play it with—. I’m a real bitch and I’ll fuck your s— all the way—up.”

She concluded, “Don’t you ever disrespect a beautiful black woman on a fucking stage like that.”
After her comments, her microphone was turned off, and a security guard escorted her off the stage Board and Entertainment Weekly.
Lennox is the last artist to experience this at the exhibition.
In November, Taylor Swift politely asked the audience to refrain from throwing objects while she was performing.

According to footage captured by fans on social media, the “Cruel Summer” singer, 33, took a moment to address the issue immediately after someone in the crowd threw a gift on stage in Buenos Aires.
“And just because communication is about having gentle, healthy boundaries — it really drives me crazy when things get thrown on stage,” Swift said while sitting at the piano during Forever part of her career.
“Because if it’s on stage, then a dancer can trip over it,” she said in a calm, thoughtful tone, expressing her concern. “I love that you brought gifts, and that’s so nice, but could you please not throw them on stage?”

“I love you so much,” the singer-songwriter added to her loyal Swifties before continuing her performance.
Musicians such as Adele, Charlie Puth and Billie Eilish have made similar comments to fans in the past few months.
Many performers have openly expressed their concerns following several incidents: Harry Styles was hit by several objects during his Love on Tour; Kelsea Ballerini got hit in the eye with a bracelet; and Bebe Rexha was seriously injured after a male crowd member threw a cell phone at her, leading to his arrest.
