Ethan Slater stands in solidarity with SAG-AFTRA.
The Broadway star was seen walking the line outside the Warner Bros. building on Monday. in New York on Monday, holding a “SAG-AFTRA ON STRIKE!” sign and wear the appropriate shirt.
Slater, 31, matched his mostly black look in a hoodie, baggy trousers and baseball cap, carrying a cup of coffee in his opposite hand, with a white bag slung over his shoulder.
There was no sign of girlfriend Ariana Grande, whose relationship with Slater was confirmed by PEOPLE back in July.
PEOPLE confirmed that it was Wicked The costars dated after Grande’s split from husband Dalton Gomez and Slater’s split from wife Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a young son.

Grande, 30, settled her divorce from Gomez, 28, earlier this month, weeks after the singer filed for divorce in Los Angeles County on Sept. 18. The two got married in May 2021.
At the time of the divorce filing, a source told PEOPLE that Grande and Gomez were “taking time together to slowly work out the details of the agreement privately,” adding, “They are really caring and respectful of each other through every step of this process.”
Calling the split “amicable and patient,” the insider added that both Grande and Gomez “have moved on.”
After the news of his relationship with Grande went public, Slater filed for divorce in New York on July 26, according to TMZ. The reason for the split with Jay, whom he married in the fall of 2018, was not specified.
A day after Slater filed for divorce, Jay broke her silence on her estranged husband’s relationship with Grande, noting that her main focus was being a “good mom” to her and Slater’s child amid the divorce.

As for Grande and Slater, a friend of the couple told PEOPLE in early September, “Even though this whole situation is overblown, it’s a lot different than what’s been portrayed in public.”
“They’re just trying to manage their new relationship privately,” the source added.
On September 25, photos surfaced of Grande and Slater visiting a Disney Park together, marking one of their first public appearances as a couple.
“They went with a large group of friends, as well as her mom and brother, and they are very happy and very good to each other. All her friends love him,” a source close to Grande told PEOPLE at the time.
Slater is currently auditioning for Broadway’s Spamalot revival that opens on October 31.
