She studied at Bal Vikas School in Panipat and went to SD (PG) College to pursue B.com and M.Com. She has had a keen interest in music since she was a child. Kaul started studying music at the age of 5. At that time her father suggested that she sing Qurbani songs. Asasi trained under Ustad Puran Shahkoti and received several accolades for his version of Gurbani. While Assis was in college, she came in contact with music composer Salim Merchant, who, after hearing her voice, called her to Mumbai for an audition. Aceh then participated in Awaz Punjab Di, after which she moved to Mumbai and participated in Indian Idol.

Profession
Asees Kaur made his Bollywood debut with Tamanchey’s Dildara Reprise. However, she came into the limelight with her song “Bolna” from the film Kapoor and Sons, which topped the charts in 2016.
She then went on to sing songs in several Bollywood films including “Beat It Bijuriya” in the film “Munna Michael”, “Piya Re” in the film “Piya Re”, “Tera Hua” in the film “Loveyatri” (Unplugged)”, “Jaan Nisaar” in the movie “Kedarnath”, “Nai Lagda” in the movie “Notebook” and “Ve Mahi” in the movie “Kesari”.
