Her daughter Emma took to social media to share the sad news
Her daughter Emma, who tried out for X Factor in 2006 and 2007, took to social media to share the sad news.
Alongside a picture of her “beautiful” and “amazing” mum, she wrote on Instagram: “Just letting you know my mum passed away peacefully in her sleep at 4am this morning.”
Emma also revealed her heartbreaking wish – that her mom “take” the family dog with her – and the last photo with Audrey.
She told The Sun: “She was a lovely woman – she loved her TV programmes, she loved her animals and she loved a good laugh.
“Her favorite TV programs were Emmerdale and Eastenders.
“My dog also died on Tuesday at 11am and mum died on Monday. I said that night ‘mum, if you can hear me, take Ruby with you’.”
She also paid tribute to her mother, from Blackburn, Lancashire, on a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for her funeral.
At the fundraiser, Emma added: “Well, at the moment, it’s really bad with the funeral costs because I’m not getting a lot of money from my job and traveling to and from the hospital.
“I’ve been going back and forth for the last two weeks and my dad being in hospital is a nightmare right now.”
The Chawner family appeared on Nightmare Neighbor in 2016, after collecting more than 500 complaints from Greater Manchester residents.
They were finally evicted after disturbing the neighbors with a loud TV, all-night barking dogs and fights in the street.
One neighbour, who remained anonymous on the show, revealed: “I’m glad they don’t live here anymore because they made our lives an absolute misery.”
Dad Philip insisted the family were “victims”, but after moving to a new neighborhood they faced fresh allegations of threatening behavior towards one of their new neighbours.
REALITY TV STARS
But the family were no strangers to TV even before they appeared on the show.
Daughter Emma appeared on The X Factor and Simon Cowell branded her “spoiled”.
She returned a few years later with her sister Sam and they were unkindly called the “Teletubbies”.
The family also appeared on Jeremy Kyle in 2015, with Emma accusing mum Audrey of abandoning the family.
The family, who were branded “too fat to work” and were once weighed in at over 90 hundred tonnes, also appeared in Lorraine Kelly’s Big Fat Challenge in 2010.
Three years later they were attacked for claiming £342,000 in benefits.
But in 2020, Emma showed a weight loss of almost 13 per cent after ditching the cakes and crisps and drinking more water.
With a reduced image on social networks, she said: “Two and a half years ago I was 28 hundred tons.
“Now I’m 15 years old. Thank you all for your support.
“I did a 30-day detox last month and lost 11 lb. My secret was not snacking and drinking lots of fluids.”
