Award-winning American actor Michael McGrath has died at the age of 65. The Broadway actor died on September 14 at his home in Bloomfield, New Jersey, according to Broadway World. The cause of death has not been released.
Michael was famous for his original role in the Broadway show Spamalot like Patsy and his stage work, Good job if you can get it. That star was also a Tony Award winner.

Tributes have been pouring in from other actors and fans on social media. Monty Python actor, comedian and writer Spamalot, Eric Idle, now known as X, tweeted: “So sad to hear that Michael McGrath, our first and dearest Patsy at Spamalot, has passed away. Warm hugs to all the Spamalot family and very happy memories of a wonderful man.”

Others shared their heartfelt wishes on social media. “I’ll be seeing Spamalot on Broadway in November. A new show that sold out the Kennedy Center. Genius genius is definitely his legacy and immortality. Where you will forever be alive on this earth and among the living. Not physically present, but from what you left behind myself,” the fan wrote.

Another added: “That’s so sad. Sending warm hugs, albeit to complete strangers, but they’re warm and hearty and appropriate and all.” A third said, “Awful. Blessed be his memory.”
A fourth, meanwhile, commented: “Just more than sad. Such an immensely talented and lovely man. May his memory be a blessing.”
In 2012, Michael won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Cookie McGree in the Broadway show, Good job if you can get it. He also received a Drama Desk Award for the same role and an Outer Critics Circle Award.
