Azam Khan is an Indian lawyer and politician. He was a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Khan is one of the founding members of the Indian Samajwadi Party.

Azam Khan started his political career with the Janta Dal (Secular) in 1980, when he first became a member of the Legislative Assembly from Rampur constituency. During his second term he moved to Lochdal. Azam was a member of the PPP during his third term as MLA before switching to the PPP during his fourth term. In 1992, he co-founded the Samajwadi Party and became an MLA for the fifth time. He has been a member of the Samajwadi Party since 1993. He has served as MLA from Rampur constituency for nine terms. Khan also served as a cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government. Khan served as general secretary of the Samajwadi Party and resigned on May 17, 2009. He had a dispute with Mulayam Singh Yadav during the 15th Lok Sabha elections and was expelled from the party on May 24, 2009 for six years. Later, the party revoked his expulsion and Khan became a member of the Samajwadi Party again on December 4, 2010. After winning the 2014 elections, he once again received a ticket from the Samajwadi Party to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Rampur constituency, defeating his rival Jaya Prada of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
On March 22, 2022, he quit the Lok Sabha membership after winning the Rampur seat in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He was sworn in as a judicial assistant on May 23, 2022, after the Supreme Court granted him interim bail in an alleged cheating case.
