Taylor Swift appeared to give a fun nod to her football star boyfriend Travis Kelce on stage.
During her Eras Tour concert at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Friday, Oct. 25, Swift, 34, took a page out of Kelce’s book — and fans are convinced the move was a subtle tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35.
When performing the follow-up to “Midnight Rain,” Swift mimed throwing a football as she sang the lyrics, “And he never think about me / Except when I’m on TV.” One fan-made video on Xu (formerly Twitter) showed the moment, and Swifties were excited to see the move, seemingly referring to their boyfriend throwing a soccer ball.

“TRAVIS CATCHES THE BALL,” one person commented. “@newheightshow @JasonKelce is this real football form?” another fan asked, referring to Travis’ podcast New heightswho co-hosts with his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles member Jason Kelce.
“She just tayvoodoo for the Chiefs in February,” joked another, alluding to the 2025 Super Bowl being held at Caesars Superdome — and the last two years the Chiefs have won the coveted title.
“She just cemented the Chiefs Super Bowl win with this tayvoodo,” someone else agreed.

“A few months down the line, when the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, we’re going to look back at this video and say ‘that’s when I knew the Chiefs had it,'” a third person added.
Swift has already included Travis in her Eras Tours shows. He sometimes does an archer pose during “Midnight Rain”, pretending to shoot with a bow and arrow. The move is seen as a tribute to Travis, who also strikes a pose during touchdown celebrations.
The 14-time Grammy winner also famously changes the words to “Karma” during her concerts, singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs going straight home to me,” when the tight end is in the audience.
