Bad Boys 4: Will Smith Teases Sequel with Fun On-Set Photos of Him and Martin Lawrence

‘Bad Boys 4’ is set to release on June 7

Will Smith takes fans behind the scenes Bad Boys 4.

Days after Smith, 55, revealed on Instagram that he and Martin Lawrence had finally finished filming the long-awaited sequel, the actor shared some photos from the set of the film.

“Miami roll,” Smith captioned his Instagram carousel, which included photos of him and Lawrence, 58, posing with rapper Fat Joe on set, a photo of Smith with musician and DJ Skrillex and a video of a peacock strutting around in field.

The actor’s post included photos of his co-stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig and Paola Núnez posing by the water in Miami, as well as a video of him and Lawrence.

Finally, Smith shared a video showing behind-the-scenes footage of him eating spaghetti with his hands after first sharing a video of himself eating spaghetti on February 19, seemingly mocking his previous AI-generated footage.

“WRAPED! Nothing but magic every time I’m with my guy. See you June 7th for @BADBOYS 4!!,” Smith previously wrote on Instagram on Monday as he announced the filming of the latest film Bad boys movie finished. The film will mark the fourth appearance of Smith and Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, who investigate drug trafficking and other crimes throughout the series.

First Bad boys a film released in 1995 and spawned a sequel in 2003, Bad boys II. the third installment, Bad boys for lifepublished in 2020. Smith and Lawrence first discovered that they work Bad Boys 4 in January 2023 and were seen on the set of the movie in Atlanta back in April of last year.

The new film was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who took over the series in 2020; Michael Bay directed the first two Bad boys movies. The film’s production was delayed several months due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, which lasted from July to November 2023.

New Bad boys the film will also star Melanie Liburd. She and Smith were seen filming what appeared to be a wedding scene in Miami on February 23. Jacob Scipio, Eric Dane and Ioan Gruffudd are also expected to appear in the film.

Bad Boys 4 opens in theaters June 7.
