AP Telangana Schools Closed
Schools in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana: According to the latest media reports, schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will remain closed today, July 25, 2023. Reports suggest that schools in both states will remain closed due to restrictions on educational institutions announced by student unions. However, it should be noted that the government has not yet officially confirmed the closure of schools. Students and parents should contact schools for information about holidays.
Protest wrongdoing in school
Local media reports say leaders of All India Students Federation (AISF) and CPI have called for a protest today, with several student unions protesting against school irregularities in the states including lack of proper infrastructure, high school fees, expensive books etc. Schools in Telangana were closed on June 26, 2023, when the ABVP board called on June 12, 2023. Student union leaders also brought to light 15,000 vacancies in DSC and MEO positions.
According to union leaders, the Government did not take any action against the reported irregularities. When announcing the meeting, the delegation leaders said that all student problems will be resolved by tomorrow.
Union protests escalated after 50 girls fell ill after eating contaminated food at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya n Amarchinta Village. The union also demanded the construction of walls for women’s dormitories in organizations and gurukuls across the two states.
