The BBC News star has shocked fans after suddenly QUITTING the broadcaster for a brand new job.
The journalist has worked for the BBC for the past four and a half years, but has finally said goodbye to the corporation in favor of Pastures New.

The star has already revealed her next move
Karishma Patel revealed the news in a post on social media and was flooded with well wishes from her friends and colleagues.
Sharing a screenshot of herself on BBC Radio 5 Live, Karishma said: “Goodbye @BBCNews after four and a half years reading, reporting and producing the news.”
After keeping her message short and sweet, she revealed her new role, saying: “I’m going to a not-for-profit organization called Britain Palestine Media Centre, where I’ll be their senior social media officer – looking after all things social media journalism media!”
It marks a slight change in direction for the star, who will leave the world of broadcasting and go all digital.
Over the past few months, Karishma has worked specifically as a Middle East expert for Radio 5 Live and insisted she still “wants to continue” working and raising awareness on issues relating to Gaza.
Sending her a message of support, one of the star’s followers said: “Amazing news! Mabrook and congrats!!! BPMC is lucky to have you, we all are.”
Another added: “Congratulations! Looking forward to following your work there.”
Before fellow BBC journalist and newsreader Jo Hornby added: “Good luck dear, we miss you!”
Apart from working with the BBC, Karishma also tried her hand at being a beauty pageant queen when she entered the Miss England pageant.
In VT’s introduction to the competition, Karishma said of herself: “I work in broadcast journalism which allows me to expose injustice where I see it and I have a very strong humanitarian ethos.”
Further describing her hobbies, the then aspiring model added: “For the past two summers I’ve been working with a school in India to provide free education for underprivileged children to break the cycle of poverty and give them more opportunities.
“I like to sing opera, Italian arias are my favorite.
“I play the piano and I like to compose for it and I do a lot of portrait photography because I like the emotions it evokes on people’s faces.”
