Beanie Feldstein Says Her ‘Favorite Part of Married Life’ Is ‘Everything’ (Exclusive)

Beanie Feldstein loves married life!

The Booksmart The 30-year-old actress said the best part of being married is “everything” as she praised her wife Bonnie-Chance Roberts, who joined her as a bridesmaid at Dolls for takeaway premiering Tuesday in New York.

“My favorite part of married life is everything, but I think the big thing that was different was when I said ‘my wife,’” Feldstein tells PEOPLE. “[It] has more power than like ‘my girlfriend’ … you know, it’s like ‘my wife’ is like ‘oh, this is legal.’ ”

“Oh my God, I just want her with me every second of every day,” Feldstein adds of his wife, who is by her side to support her on the red carpet for her latest film. “So it’s like of course she had to be here and she looks so beautiful.”

The actress, who is Jonah Hill’s sister, also said that her mother and father flew in to support her at the premiere. “It’s really nice to have everyone I love here,” she adds.

Feldstein was joined at the premiere on Tuesday by her co-stars in the new Coen Brothers film, Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanatha. The new film follows the story of two women who run into criminals on an impromptu trip to Tallahassee, Florida.

Speaking about who she would love to travel with on her trip, Feldstein tells PEOPLE, “Oh, my wife obviously! No doubt. We love to travel, we really want to run.”

Feldstein married longtime girlfriend Roberts in May 2023. The couple met in the UK in 2018 on the set of a film How to build a girl and they got engaged in June 2022.

Earlier this month, Feldstein shared details of her wedding Late Night with Seth Meyers. The star described the ceremony, which took place at Cedar Lakes Estate in the Hudson Valley, as “perfect” – except for the shower mishap that happened while she was getting ready for the altar.

Feldstein explained that after she finished showering and went to the nightstand to check the time, she didn’t realize she had left some of the curtains open in the cabin.

– I’m hunched over, naked and looking up like this, like a gremlin in the night, and Bono’s friend Abby is standing at the glass door – Feldstein recalled with a laugh. “I’ve never screamed like that in my entire life… Because this is the worst way you want anyone to see you, let alone bare-ass on your wedding day. So Abby really freaked me out. But other than that, it was perfect.”

“I was so calm,” added Feldstein Meyers as she said her vows. “I just had to look at her and hear her vows, and it was perfect.”

The actress also shared that for the couple’s first dance song, her close friend, actor and singer Ben Platt, performed James Taylor’s “Something in the Way She Moves.” “It was just Ben’s sweet voice, accompanied by James and Bono, and we were dancing — it was so beautiful,” Feldstein recounted.

She added about inviting her friend Sarah Paulson to be part of her bridal party for the big day: “When I asked her to be my bridesmaid, she started crying, in such a sweet way.”
