Bebe Rexha knows that the heart wants what it wants – and she agrees.
On Monday, August 5, the pop star, 34, was spotted having fun with her new boyfriend Simos Liakos in Italy during a getaway.
The pair were spotted soaking up the sun by the water in Sardinia, where the “Ment to Be” artist was seen in a black swimsuit putting her arm over the architectural engineer’s chest and hugging him.
A representative for Rexha did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

In July 2023, Rexha confirmed the end of her three-year relationship with boyfriend Keyan Safyari, two weeks after she shared text messages with her Instagram followers in which he allegedly spoke negatively about her weight gain.
During a performance in London on July 28, she introduced her song “Atmosphere,” telling the crowd, “I just went through a breakup right now so I might get a little emotional, so you’ve got to help me out here,” per E! On the line.
The song details about leaving a lover and includes the lyrics, “And I can’t blame myself for getting lost in the promise of you / And I can’t blame you for leaving.”
At the time, a rep for the “I’m a Mess” singer and Safyari did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.
During her performance of “I Am” at the show in London, one fan could be seen holding a “You are enough” sign as Rexha wiped tears from her cheeks.
“You’re really trying to make a bitch cry,” she told the crowd.
But Rexha didn’t let her sadness take over the evening – she also shared plans to perform at London’s iconic gay nightclub Heaven.
“I’ll be in heaven tonight, partying and looking for a new boyfriend,” she told the crowd. “I don’t know why I would be looking for a new boyfriend in a gay club, but you know — fluid?”

Bebe Rexha confirms breakup with boyfriend Keyan Safyari: Report
News of Rexha’s breakup comes just weeks after she shared a screenshot of a text message she appeared to have sent to Safyari, a 40-year-old Los Angeles-based filmmaker, who was apparently critical of her recent weight gain.
The “I Got You” singer first shared the post on her Instagram Story but deleted it.
Rexha has been open about issues with her body image, tweeting in April 2023: “I have always struggled with my weight. Bitch loves to eat,” and in June 2023, “Human beings go through weight fluctuations, that’s life and you don’t know what people go through. Medicines, diseases etc…”
