Bert Kreischer Interview: The Go-Big Show

Bert “The Machine” Kreischer returns as host Go to the big show Judges for Season 2 include returning Cody Rhodes, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles and new host T-Pain this season . big show This season is definitely getting bigger, with riskier shows that can go wrong at any time, but host Bert Kreischer’s favorite is the “Hold My Beer Show,” and he thinks that’s the show all content.

screen roar Recently spoke with Kreischer about this season Go to the big show He opened up about the type of behavior he prefers to see and which judge he thinks is the toughest. Go to the big show The host also discussed his thoughts on the misjudgment of the first season.

Screen Rant: Nice to meet you, Bert.Listen, you keep large-scale performance As hosts for Season 2, we have a smooth flow of action. We’re definitely going bigger this season. What types of behavior do you expect to see when you put in the work?

Bert Kreischer: I always like to keep my beer acts in a way that’s not always thought of and you can feel the energy of “I hope this works.”

Soon a child came over. I just voiced him. He’s coming next week. I think his name was Alan Parker. I mean, this kid will always have a special place in my heart. He’s an amateur escape artist, an amateur escape artist, an amateur escape artist.

He checked all conditions for amateurs. Most of the time, his mom and dad locked him up and threw him in the pool. I mean, this kid, it makes me… I love this kid, I love those behaviors. Ma is a person who breaks the vacuum in the balls. I like it. These are what I call “this is our show.”

marvelous. marvelous. Now, has there ever been a situation where when a judge was giving a score to a contestant, you felt they deserved the highest score, but the judge got it wrong?

Bert Kreischer: Yes. all the time. In the first season, I definitely said, “They scored this wrong,” all season long, all season long.

They’ve done a lot this season. In my mind, they are more connected to my interests, what I like. But sometimes they’ll still be impressed by something I say, “Well, I don’t know.” Like I said, I like plain things. I like holding my beer. I like those. Sometimes, they like something a little more dazzling.

I know you are afraid of clowns and heights. We’ve seen both this season. What scares you the most about the show so far this season?

Bert Kreischer: Honestly, any time… for me, The Amazing Sadak and The Splash Professor were two of my, I was like, “If something goes wrong, it’s really there is a problem.”

They’re all, I mean, IMHO, they’re all men of this era. If they hurt themselves, that’s a game changer. A broken hip at age 60 was a game changer. These two people in particular scare me. Those are the things that really excite me, because without the internet, there’s nothing. Insecure. Like “Can he do it?”

Same. For me, Daredevil’s daughter, when she was jumping rope on that thing, she tripped and my heart stopped. I’m worried about her.

Bert Kreischer: Man, I saw a video of someone falling on the same thing in a park, at a fair. They fell and broke their necks. I’ve seen that exact same device. When she went up there, I had no idea she was going to be standing outside. When she tripped, I was like, “Oh, man.” My stomach dropped. I remember just saying, “You’ve done enough. Get down, get down.”

It was crazy being in the room because we didn’t know if something was going to go wrong. Because it’s being performed live for us. When you see it, you know there’s a good chance no one died.

You have to be in front of these contestants because they see other competitors competing while they’re doing their thing. Have you ever stood with these contestants and heard them say the funniest things you’ve ever heard while watching other people compete?

Bert Kreischer: I was sitting with someone one time and I thought… I would say it was J.D. Anderson. I was sitting with someone and I said, “If they catch fire, you go right to the next round.” They were like, “Oh, really?” I was like, “No, we don’t want them to catch fire.” .” He said, “Oh, yes. Yes, you’re right. You’re right…”

Those guys, it’s crazy because they all live together. All contestants stay in a hotel. I’m not sure if I can say that, but whatever. They stayed in a hotel together the entire month we were there.

They hang out a lot, so they know each other. In a weird way, no one talks trash about everyone else, they cheer them on and they see them perform in rehearsals. These guys do their moves to warm up. They are always super supportive. I’m always shocked.

Which judge do you think is the hardest to please? I mean, Cody Rhodes gave one of the lowest scores I’ve ever seen on an upcoming episode.

Burt Kreischer: I’m Cody. Cody has very keen taste in what he thinks the show is and what he thinks should be moving forward. Rosario provided hundreds of similar coronavirus test results. She said, “No, you need one. You need one too. You need one too.”

Jennifer was just cheering for everyone. T-Pain, I think T-Pain can get over the dazzling feeling and he can get really excited. Cody, man. Cody is cruel. He doesn’t mind telling you that he doesn’t like you.

Yes, he doesn’t mind telling you. I also saw T-Pain almost hit the trash with a knife. This is very strong for me too. Thank him for doing this.

Look, one thing I know about you is I know you’re a big sneakerhead. I know we’re going to switch gears now, but I know you’re a sneakerhead. I’ve seen you wear some of the coolest shoes I’ve ever seen, some Virgil Abloh Off-White Dunks, which are awesome, and your SB Birdie Boy Dunks from Dank & Co. Where does your passion for sneakers lie? How did it come about? Did you get a chance to talk to T-Pain about his sneakers?

Bert Kreischer: Yes. Anyone who is even remotely a sneakerhead will seek out other sneakerheads. I have to say, I’m not a huge sneakerhead as I’ve just started getting obsessed with Yeezys. I just started to appreciate Yeezys. I just bought Yeezy Boosts. I love them. Even if it’s Off-Whites, I can’t put the label on them. So I thought, “This is too much.”

Then I was stupid. I called my friend Tom Segura and I said, “Yeah, I cut the tag off.” He said, “Hey, you can unlace it and slide it off.” I said : “Oh, my God. I cut it off.”

I love sneakers because of the deals I have. The first pair I bought were black Jordans, black and gold Jordans, for Secret Time. And then I thought, I like the way they look. I was wearing these old Nike ACGs or something. My wife said, “You look like an old man in these.”

I started reaching out to other sneakerheads, Ron Funches was a sneakerhead, Chris Delia was a sneakerhead, Bernie Schaub was a sneakerhead. I started talking to them about certain shoes that I liked and didn’t like. Then I fell in love with SB. This is what I’m wearing now. I’m a SB guy. I like Nike SB.

I’ve been looking for some pink and black Nike SBs that I really, really want.

Bert Kreischer: Man, I want Tiffany Dunks. They’re about $5,000. I received a pair of fakes and I put them online. Brother, everyone is coming to beat me. They were like, “They’re fake, they’re fake. They’re fake.” I was like, “No one can tell me.”

That’s incredible. That’s incredible. Okay, listen, I have one last question for you. Speaking of T-Pain, he is the new judge this season. What did he bring to everyone? large-scale performance Around this season?

Bert Kreischer: I think it’s the wide-eyed enthusiasm. T-Pain was overwhelmed with every move he made. He was appalled by what we had done. Nothing is corny to us, but we’ve seen a lot of stuff where we’re like, “Okay, I’ve seen a version of this.” T-Pain hasn’t. He’s literally here for all of this. He’s like the heart-pounding heart of the show. I like it. I love his excitement.
