Bhajan Kaur is an Indian archery athlete, famous for winning the bronze medal in the women’s team recurve event at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou.

Bhajan Kaur was born on Friday, August 26, 2004, in Ellenabad, Sirsa, Haryana (age 19; as of 2023). Bhajan was born into a Jat family. She attended Nachikotan Public School, Ellenabad, Haryana. She is pursuing her degree from Chandigarh University, Ajitgarh, Punjab. In eighth grade, a senior at her school left her bow behind, and the teacher suggested Bajan use it. The teachers were impressed with her archery and encouraged her, marking the beginning of her archery journey. She mentioned in an interview that when she expressed her desire to learn archery to her parents, their parents were happy but also worried because of financial constraints. Despite this, her father took a loan to buy archery equipment worth Rs. 25,000. She used to practice shot put before switching her competition to archery.

In 2020, she participated in the Maharashtra National Games and won a gold medal in the team event and a silver medal in the individual event. In 2020, she won a gold medal at the Jharkhand National Games and another gold medal in an individual event. In 2022, she won the gold medal in the team event, the silver medal in the mixed team event and the gold medal in the individual event at the National Championships in Alwar. At the 2022 Senior National Championships in Jammu, she was part of the Haryana team that finished third and won the gold medal in the individual event. On April 21, 2023, she defeated top-ranked Aljandra Valencia 6-5 in the quarterfinals. In June 2023, she entered the top ten in the third stage of the Archery World Cup in Medellin, Colombia. In July 2023, she participated in the Junior and Junior World Championships in Limerick and won a bronze medal. During the competition, she defeated Chinese Taipei player Su Xinyu 7-1 in the U-21 women’s recurve individual competition.
In 2023, she won the gold medal at the NTPC National Senior Archery Championships.
At the 2022 Asian Games, she won a bronze medal in the women’s team recurve event along with Ankita Bhakat and Simranjeet Kaur. In the bronze medal play-off, they defeated the Vietnamese team with a score of 6-2 and won the bronze medal play-off.
