Billie Eilish Rocks a Black Corset Dress Over a Floor-Length White Button-Down at 2024 Critics Choice Awards

Awards season has only just begun, but Billie Eilish is already in style, thanks to her unique red carpet looks.

At the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night, the 22-year-old singer chose another standout look.

Eilish chose a Thom Browne design featuring a fitted black corset-style dress layered over a floor-length collared white shirt. She wore a pair of round glasses and tied her bright red and black hair back.

Eilish, who won her first critics’ trophy for the Bond song “No Time to Die”, is back again, this time for Barbie“What I was made for.” The ballad has already won the Golden Globe this month, as has the film directed by Greta Gerwig, which is leading the nominations at tonight’s show.

When accepting her Globe alongside her brother and collaborator, Finneas O’Connell, Eilish spoke about how touching the song, which explores the valleys of girlhood, has been for her personal life.

“And you know, exactly a year ago we almost got the movie and I was really, really miserable and depressed at the time and writing that song kind of saved me,” she said on stage. “And a year later, here we are and it’s really surreal. I feel incredibly, incredibly happy. Incredibly happy and grateful, and you scare me to death – everyone in this room – but thank you so much. Thank you, it means the world.”

With Eilish’s song coming out on top, we can expect a few more red carpet looks from the trendsetter.

Her appearance at the Golden Globes could hint at the kind of high-low fashion fans can expect.

She wore a Willy Chavarria beige pleated skirt, an oversized black blazer and a light blue shirt with a Peter Pan collar and a DIY ribbon detail for the ballet hit. And she completed her scientific outfit with retro Mary Jane heels that she bought last year at a thrift store.

She also chose some unconventional clothing choices. For the Palm Spring International Film Awards on January 4, she ditched the classic heels for a cozy pair of black loafers and socks. The combination perfectly suited her all-black look, especially her Playboy backpack.
