Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts Bring Their Effortlessly Cool Couple Style to the 2024 SAG Awards

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup brought their love — and coordinated couple style — to the 2024 SAG Awards red carpet.

The pair stepped out holding hands, with Watts, 55, wearing a long black Dior Haute Couture Spring Summer 2023 crepe dress, embroidered with geometric floral appliqués on a mesh background with puff sleeves.

She completed the look with pear-shaped Antonia Miletto emerald and ebony earrings from Fred Leighton and a red lip, while Crudup, 55, was dapper in a classic black tuxedo.

Crudup, along with his co-star Jennifer Aniston, was nominated for the supporting role of TV executive Cory in the Morning showand Watts — who recently appeared in Ryan Murphy’s new series Feud: Capote vs. Swans — presented the “In Memoriam” segment tonight.

The couple’s red carpet appearance is one of their first weddings, as they officially tied the knot after six years of dating in June 2023. Just last month, King Kong star and Almost famous The actor made his debut as a married couple when they hit the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. Watts wore a shimmering silver Fendi dress, and Crudup – who was one of the nominees for Morning show — wore a classic black suit and tie.

The SAG Awards red carpet also played a special role in the couple’s relationship — they made their debut as a couple in February 2022 when they walked the red carpet after sparking dating rumors for months.

Watts and Crudup have been dating for more than six years, after starring together in the 2017 Netflix series. Gypsy. Despite their red carpet appearances and supporting each other at awards shows, the couple have been honest about their desire to keep their relationship private.

In March 2018, while talking to Party tonight about his one-man show on Broadway titled Harry ClarkeCrudup said he tries “not to comment publicly one way or another on his personal life.”

“I don’t really see the benefit of people knowing too much about me if I’m constantly trying to trick them into thinking I’m someone else,” he said when asked about his relationship with the mother of two.

Although the couple has no children, Crudup was apparently close to Watts’ two children — son Sasha, 16, and daughter Kai, 15 — who she shares with ex-husband Liev Schreiber.

In 2020, the actor took home an Emmy Award for his work on the film morning show, and took time to include the children in his acceptance speech.

“And to the young people in my life: my famous son, Will, my nephews and all my godsons, Sasha and Kai, please save us,” he said. “Sorry to ask. I love you and thank you.”

Crudup also shares son William, 20, with ex-girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker.
