Billy Crudup is an American actor, known for his starring and supporting roles in Almost Famous (2000), Big Fish (2003) and Mission: Impossible III (2006).

William Gaither Crudup was born in Manhasset, New York, USA on Monday, July 8, 1968 (55 years old as of 2023) under the zodiac sign of Cancer. In 1986, he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In 1994, he studied for a Master of Fine Arts degree at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. In addition, he also took an undergraduate acting course at LAB! theater.
