Blake Lively Gushes Over ‘Skater Boy’ Husband Ryan Reynolds: ‘Dreams Really Do Come True’

On Sunday, the actress, 36, took to Instagram to share a snap of Ryan Reynolds, 47, holding a skateboard with the caption, “@AvrilLavigne dreams really do come true,” while playing Lavigne’s 2002 hit, “Sk8er Boi. ”

On the picture, Dead pool star wore a beanie, Converse sneakers and sunglasses as he flashed a slight smile for the camera while wearing a skateboard and helmet.

“He was a skater, she said see you later, boy, he wasn’t good enough for her,” the song’s lyrics flashed over the Instagram clip. “She had a beautiful face, but her head was in space, she had to come back to earth.”

The Gossip girl Alumina’s new clip comes after she revealed a rule she and Reynolds made when they first started dating.

Speaking on Amber Tamblyn’s Substack show Next Ado earlier this month, Lively said she and her now-husband agreed to prioritize their relationship over work, reported Party tonight.

When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule that we didn’t work at the same time, Lively said. “So we can always prioritize our personal lives.”

“For that, it is necessary to work very hard when we are not,” she added. “Just like financial planning and maintaining it – it takes balance.”

Lively continued that she’s “used to working hard and going and going and going and going and not stopping.”

“Especially, Gossip girl it was six years of my life, and sometimes we shot three episodes at once,” she explained.

Lively and Reynolds started dating in 2011 and married in 2012. The couple has four children – James (9), Inez (7), Betty (4) and a one-year-old baby.

Earlier this month, Lively and Reynolds also shared a funny moment on social media after she attended the 2024 Super Bowl with Taylor Swift.

In the middle of an NFL game Reynolds posted “Did you all see the #Deadpool trailer? Has anyone seen my wife?” on Instagram.

The next day, Lively posted an Instagram Story in which she posed in front of it Dead pool announcement background with the words “Honey, I’m home.”

“My day was good. Yours?” she added.
