Blake Lively upstages Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.
The Gossip girl The alum, 36, shared a powerful message about women empowering other women after attending the film’s premiere Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie earlier this week.
Sharing her thoughts on the “Cuff It” and “Anti-Hero” singer’s support for each other, Lively captioned her Instagram post on Saturday, writing, “When I was growing up, women were always fighting each other.”
“It took me until adulthood to see that women’s instinct to lift each other to their highest potential is the norm, not the exception. Most of my best friends are women who would be packaged as a threat or competition to me,” she continued. “Our job is to show the younger generations the strength in uniting, not dividing.”
“All this to say, @beyonce and @taylorswift neither of you need to be threatened by my pop stardom,” Lively joked at the time. “There is room for all of us.”

Along with her encouraging caption, Lively shared a carousel of photos from the recent premiere, which began with a shot of her greeting Beyoncé, 42.
In the image, the actress, wearing a Chanel jacket with glitter detailing on the bottom and a matching black skirt, can be seen reaching out to the “Break My Soul” singer, who also reached out to her.
In another shot, Lively could be seen hugging her longtime best friend Swift, 33, as they sat together on a blue couch. The “Lavender Haze” singer was photographed in a silver mirrored ball gown, leaning against Lively with a big smile on her face.

Lively’s message comes after Beyoncé and Swift embarked on record-breaking world tours this year, which were given accompanying film releases.
Beyoncé previously attended the premiere of the Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles in October, prompting Swift to reflect on how much Queen Bey’s presence meant to her in an Instagram post.

“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would have been like without @beyonce’s influence,” Swift wrote as she shared a boomerang video of her and Beyoncé at the movies. “The way she taught me and every artist here to break the rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility.”
The Grammy winner continued: “She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like a fairy tale. 😇🙏🥹.”
