Brad Stockton, former player for the Texas Rangers, married his wife Ashley last year. Ashley and Brad wasted no time getting married, getting married six months later. Brad was last seen on a baseball field in 2002, playing for the Texas Rangers’ A affiliate, Savannah. The 2023 World Series champion was released in 2003, and his professional path changed dramatically as a result.
He now works in the accounting department after previously working as a sales specialist for several companies across the country. His better half started his own business at the beginning of this year, and the couple will soon celebrate one anniversary.

Ashley Stockton, a former University of Alabama student, started working as a customer service representative for Alfa Insurance shortly after graduating from college. After several years in an insurance company, Ashley joined the global fast food restaurant brand Subway. Ashley oversaw five Subway stores as General Manager. She was in charge of creating weekly staff schedules in the work budget, as well as monitoring and implementing the updated cash register and POS Control System. Ashley returned to Alfa in 2017 after six years at Subway. Ashley started working at Allstate Insurance in Huntsville, Alabama in 2020. She spent a year and a half as an insurance agent.
Ashley started working as a mortgage loan originator at Colten Mortgage in early 2022, although he only stayed for four months. Ashley founded Axelle Candle earlier this year on May 4, 2023, marking the beginning of her adventure as CEO. Ashely is on Facebook and has posted a number of family photos, including some from her wedding with Brad. She also posted some photos of candles made by her company, Axelle Candle.
Career after baseball
Brad Stockton played college baseball for years at Georgia Institute of Technology. For Georgia, he started 183 games, averaged .323 and hit 24 home runs. After graduating from Georgia in 2001, Stockton was selected by the Rangers in the 22nd round. He was sent to Class A Pulaski, where he tied for the league lead with 18 doubles and earned All-Star honors. He was subsequently promoted to Class A Savannah and began his second season there. Brad played 90 games for Savannah in 2002, posting a .231 batting average, a .343 OBP, and a .313 slugging percentage. However, those numbers were not enough for Brada to survive in Texas. Brad was fired by Texas after the 2003 spring training season.
Brad began working as a sales representative for Pfizer shortly after retiring from baseball. He spent three years there before joining Alcon Laboratories as a special sales representative. Brad is now employed at QGneda as a Senior Account Executive in 2022, having previously held the same role at Healthy.io. He also served as Director of Sales at Tract Manager from 2019 to 2022. Brad is on Facebook, although he hasn’t posted much.
