Some couples love it when they are on a cruise together – but 9-1-1Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) and Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) did not some couples.
When the hit series arrives on ABC on March 14, the couple is on a cruise, as is clear from the exclusive trailer above, which debuts exclusively with PEOPLE, something Athena isn’t too excited about.
“Last week, my husband booked us on a cruise. It’s a little belated honeymoon,” Athena tells her therapist. – I’m terrified.
The therapist replies, “I’m sure you’ll be fine.”
He shouldn’t have been so confident. This is 9-1-1after all.

Everything goes wrong in the clip. The passengers are forced to “stay down” and the ship begins to capsize.
Meanwhile, 118 is on land trying to find the pair. “I’m looking for Captain Nash and his wife, but I can’t find their cruise ship,” says Henrietta Wilson (Aisha Hinds).
They board the helicopters and one of the pilots declares, “We’re flying into a hurricane!”
Tribute to Poseidon’s Adventure will be “a big, exciting series that’s about three episodes long,” showrunner Tim Minear said during a visit as part of the Television Critics Association winter press tour, according to TVLine .

The honeymoon from hell won’t be the only plot in the season premiere. According to the official episode log, a fighter jet also “captures a civilian,” and an “unusual” incident forces the couple to bond.
The series also stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kenneth Choi, Oliver Stark and Ryan Guzman.
