Brady Ebert A Founding Member Of Turnstile Has Left The Band

Turnstile informed followers of the decision via an Instagram story on Friday, August 12, writing, “Turnstile and guitarist Brady Ebert have parted ways.” We appreciate the time we spent together. Our affection for him continues and we wish him nothing but the best in the future.”

Ebert has not said anything about his departure from the organization. No additional information is currently available. Turnstile has been in the news ahead of its fall US tour with Snail Mail and JPEGMAFIA. On August 4, some media reported that Turnstile’s percussionist Daniel Fang had filed for a restraining order against Ebert. That being said, many are speculating that Ebert’s departure may have something to do with the order.

On August 11, a hearing was held for Fang’s peace order against Brady Ebert.

When someone is accused of molesting, stalking, harassing or destroying someone else’s property, a peace order is issued. Two hearings on Fang’s peace order were held this month. If granted, the injunction would prevent Ebert from contacting, abusing or approaching Fang. The order, however, was revoked. Lambgoat referred to the latest hearing on August 11 in the District Court of Maryland, when it was apparently declared that there was no legal basis for the relief. The verdict stated that there was insufficient evidence to implement the order and that it was beyond the reach of the law.

Pat McCrory was done when Cullen left in 2015. Ebert contributed to the band’s three studio albums: Nonstop Feeling (2016), Time and Space (2018) and Glow On (2021).

Turnstile Love Connection, the band’s sixth EP, was released in June 2021. Yates also directed a short film of the same name, which was also distributed. Glow On, Turnstile’s latest album, was released in August 2021. Glow On is the band’s first record to feature a featured artist, featuring Blood Orange, a British singer/songwriter and producer.
