Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell are engaged!
Bowers and Mandrell, who revealed their relationship in the season 9 finale Bachelor in Paradiseasked the question during Thursday Live Golden wedding broadcast.
The reality star told host Jesse Palmer that he and Mandrell connected after she entered his DMs and they bonded over the band Tenacious D. After handing the host their microphones, he grabbed Mandrell’s hands before proposed.
“Christina, from the moment I picked you up from the airport with your crazy ass up and your fake mask, I just knew there was something special and there was something different,” daughter Blakely told the mom of seven.

The television personality went on to tell Mandrell that she made him feel like he could be who he was “unapologetically.”
“And I have no doubt in my mind that I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” he continued. “And like Gerry said, it’s like, you know, we have so little time and… I just know that I want to spend the rest of my days with you.”
Bowers then got down on one knee and pulled out an engagement ring.
“Is this why we got our nails done?” Mandrell exclaimed accepting his suggestion.

Palmer explained that Bowers had the approval of Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist to pop the question at their wedding. “Brayden actually called Gerry and Theresa and made sure he got their blessing before he proposed,” the dad-to-be said.
This couple’s relationship is not shown Bachelor in Paradise but the couple have since announced their love on social media.
“I finally took Wells’ advice and found myself a ‘Southern belle,'” Bowers shared on Instagram. “Joking aside, she has been the greatest blessing in my life.”
“She’s already been there for me through hard times and she’s shown me so much grace through it all,” he continued. “She became my confidant, my accountability partner, and my go-to person.”
He concluded: “I’m so thankful that I don’t have to keep quiet about our relationship anymore. I can finally shout it from the mountaintops. I love you baby, thank you for being in my life 😘❤️”

Mandrell celebrated not having to keep quiet about the relationship after the finale BIP aired in her own post, sharing, “AHHH! We can ‘FINALLY’ shout it from the rooftops!! Beyond the cameras and reality show drama, Brayden (aka MY BOYFRIEND!) and I have found something truly special.”
