At a late -night meeting of MPs – many of whom threaten the left -wing rebellion – he insisted that he would not be cow from acting.
He said: “We were in the worst case of all world situations – with the wrong stimuli – discouraging people to work, the taxpayer finances a spiral account, £ 70 billion a year by 2030.
“Lost generation. One of eight young people are not in education, employment or training and people who really need this security network still do not always receive the dignity they deserve.
“It’s unsustainable, it’s unspeakable and it’s unfair, people think it is in their bones. It is contrary to those deep British values that if you can work, you should.
“And if you want to work, the government should support you, not stop you.”
The ministers have delayed the announcement of fees until next week because the divisions deepen over the stress of well -being.
Supporters claim that Britain has a “moral duty” to repay the illness for the disease, while MPs on the left of the party warn of “Draconian cuts” that could push disabled persons into poverty.
The attack could see 2.4 million applicants to prepare for work, and hundreds of thousands face a reduction in fees if they reject.
Ministers also plan to tighten access to paying personal independence with the aim of saving over £ 5 billion, at the same time collecting a universal loan and investing a billion pounds in work training.
A group of 36 working MPs, calling themselves a “working group for Britain”, insists that reforms are “truly progressive efforts.”

Several leading charity organizations, including disability in the UK, Civic Council, Scope and meaning, also wrote a chancellor yesterday, calling for “protection” for disability benefits from a decrease.
