“I think we take it one day,” Grant, 31, speaks exclusively to people in this week’s edition during a joint interview with fiancé Julian, 28. “We are learning each other now and we fall in love more about each other.”

One of the biggest priorities for the couple was to get their families a “net” before the news of their relationship went public. “They talked on the phone, during Facetime,” Juliana explains. “We somehow did it immediately when we got home because we wanted them to feel connected too.”

“It’s not a second I doubted after going to my hometown cities to accept my family and my family will accept them,” Grant adds about his future laws. “I feel like her father and my father really clicked. They both worked in the car, so they had a common ground. It’s obviously something that is not great, but that’s a thing that binds.”

The last test of their relationship will be the upcoming meeting of their pets. “Now we just saw if our dogs were like each other because I just got a puppy and she has her own dog Charlie,” Grant says with a laugh.
