Brittany Mahomes Calls Out Increase in ‘Rude’ People on Instagram: ‘Go Back to Where You Came from’

Brittany Mahomes has a message for her haters on social media.

The 28-year-old KC Current owner and wife of Kansas City Chiefs running back Patrick Mahomes called out a new wave of negativity towards her in a scathing post on her Instagram Story on Tuesday night.

Brittany said there has been a significant increase in “cheeky people” on the popular app.

“Recently there have been MUCH ruder– people here, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa[sic] normal.”

The mother-of-two, who shares daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes with 28-year-old Patrick, added that she’s “not sure” what has drawn the extra negativity to her profile.

Concluding her message to social media trolls on Tuesday, Brittany wrote: “I’m not sure where you came from but you should probably go back to where you came from…please.”

Brittany’s harsh address is not the first time she calls out negativity on social media.

In 2021, the mother of two surprised an Instagram hater when she responded to a rude comment on one of her posts.

A comment on Brittany’s post read: “She’ll probably be on some Real Housewives of Athletes show in twenty years because of what she actually does.”

Brittany jokingly replied, “And you’re following me why?”

“Before it was yes. But not anymore. I could give two shits about the opinion of people who don’t know me at all,” she wrote with a peace emoji.

In response to another question in which a fan asked about the emotional toll it takes “for Patrick to go that far,” the Kansas City Current co-owner was similarly candid.

“It’s not easy, but it’s true. You learn and adapt on the fly! He works hard and we really appreciate everything he does for our family,” she wrote.

Brittany and Patrick also let fans into their private lives away from social media, as stars of the show’s first season Back on Netflix.

In one episode of the documentary, Brittany was candid about how she had to adjust to being in the spotlight.

“I wasn’t ready for this,” Brittany said of the intensity of life in the NFL. “And at such a young age. We were in love and I loved him with all my heart. But, you know, I didn’t expect it to jump so quickly, and that we would be thrown into the fire like this.”
