Bronny James Remains Unselected After Night 1 of 2024 NBA Draft

The 2024 NBA Draft is officially underway and all eyes were on Bronny James. But after the first night of the draft, the eldest son of NBA legend LeBron James went undrafted.

Many NBA fans – including LeBron himself – can’t wait to see father and son play together in the NBA. But after the first night, everyone will have to wait a little longer to find out if that will happen.

Although Bronny was never considered a top pick in the draft, several outlets predicted he would likely be drafted in the NBA, and CBS Sports bet LeBron’s team, the Los Angeles Lakers, would land him.

Although a seemingly obvious choice for the Lakers, Rich Paul, LeBron’s agent, previously stated that the father-son duo is not a package deal, according to Yahoo! Sports.

If the Lakers selected them in the draft, Bronny and LeBron would go down in history as the first NBA father and son to actively play together. But it depends not only on whether Bronny is selected by the team, and whether LeBron decides to continue playing instead of retiring, the media added.
