Bruce Springsteen has endorsed Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
On Thursday, October 3rd, The E Street Band leader posted an Instagram Reel where he voiced his support for the Democratic candidate in a video taken at a restaurant.
“Friends, fans and the press asked me who I was supporting in the most important election,” Springsteen, 75, said. “And with full knowledge of my opinions [being] no more and no less important than all my fellow citizens, here is my answer: I support Kamala Harris for President and Tim Walz for Vice President.”
Boss called the upcoming election “the most consequential” and says the United States has not felt “politically, spiritually and emotionally divided” since the Civil War.
“It doesn’t have to be that way at this point,” he insisted.

The “Born to Run” singer called Donald Trump “the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime.”
“He doesn’t understand the meaning of this country, its history or what it means to be deeply American,” Springsteen said, citing Trump’s “contempt” for the “sanctity” of the Constitution, democracy and the peaceful transfer of power — the latter referring to Trump’s refusal to accept the presidential victory of Joe Biden in 2020.
