Isaacs’ family started a GoFundMe to raise money to return his body to his native Six Nations, Canada. He is survived by his mother and younger brother, the organizer wrote.
So far, the GoFundMe has raised over $100,000.
“Bills Mafia, Buffalo Bills as well as Miami Dolphins and fans and everyone across Turtle Island, thank you for coming together and showing so much love and support for us and our community,” the organizer wrote. “It was truly inspiring to see the things we as human beings can do with empathy and compassion for one another.”
