Burger King Unveils The Addams Family Themed Menu Just in Time for Halloween

Halloween will start early at Burger King.

The fast food company is set to unveil four new menu items on Thursday, October 10, based on characters from the beloved animated adaptations The Addams Family.

“Halloween holds a special place in our brand’s history, and we know our guests can’t wait to see what delicious and wacky creations we come up with each year,” said Pat O’Toole, director of marketing for Burger King North America. statement.

“We know The Addams Family also has an affinity for the scarier things in life, so we’re excited to offer fans not one, but four new takes on their favorite BK products this Halloween season with these Addams Family-inspired creations,” continued O’Toole.

The first item on the menu is a Wednesday-inspired version of the iconic Whopper.

“Enjoy the iconic grilled Whopper topped with Swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles and onions, all toasted on a purple bun that gets its hue from purple potatoes topped with black sesame seeds,” the press release explains.

Diners who pair the burger with the onion rings or choose to eat them on their own will find they’re served in packaging inspired by the mysterious one-armed sidekick Thing.

Family patriarch Gomez will also be treated to “Gomez Churro Fries,” which are “crispy, fried churros coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with chocolate sauce,” according to a press release.

The latest item on the new menu is “Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake” — soft serve mixed with chocolate brownie batter and topped with black and purple cookie pieces.
