“El Soñador” tells the story of the Grulla family and a broken horse named Soador (dreamer in Spanish) who helps heal people who place their hopes in him. The story is based on the palpable chemistry between Dakota Fanning and Kurt Russell as daughter and father (and the uncanny resemblance between Russell and Kris Kristofferson as son and father).
